Running for a Cure!

I am part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) mission to cure blood cancers and run marathons in honor of individuals and their families fighting cancer. Together with Team in Training, participants are trained to complete marathons while fundraising to fight cancer!
I already raised over $2,000 for a previous marathon run (2006 Rock N Roll Marathon in San Diego) and am currently trying to raise over $4,000 to run in the Mayor's Marathon in Anchorage, Alaska. I am fighting the cancers that kill over 60,000 people a year in this country. I am helping to combat the disease that is a leading killer of children, but attacks ten times as many adults!
